Mutek evening #2

Invited as part of a “Québec/Canada prospective”, MUTEK offers a true festival within a festival in one evening. An ambient program in St. Paul’s Church, the Mecca of Musica’s contemplative evenings, features artists who are currently making the Canadian scene vibrant.

In the first part, we’ll be joining forces with the Bozzini string quartet to present a short program around Nicole Lizée’s Folk noir/Canadiana (2018), a work that embodies one aspect of contemporary Canadian musical culture: the dialogue between different musical registers, be they popular, experimental or contemporary.
