10 Jan WE ARE A WINNER AT THE 26TH OPUS AWARDS!

We are very proud and happy to be laureate of the 26th Opus Awards organized by the Conseil Québécois de la musique. The results were announced at the Gala on February 5th and our show Les espaces physiques was awarded Concert of the Year – musique actuelle and electroacoustic. Not only were we nominated, but we were also finalists twice, with Les Espaces Physiques and Polytope XXI, our tribute concert to Iannis Xenakis. Other finalists included Paramirabo, Chants Libres and SuperMusique, underlining the high level of the competition.

As a reminder, Les espaces physiques was a co-production between Sixtrum, Le Vivier and EUNIC, in collaboration with CIRMMT. During this concert our musicians performed 3 works commissioned to the mathematician and composer Carmine Emanuele Cella.
