In a unique event for Montreal, Sixtrum is collaborating with Les Percussions de Strasbourg and several Montreal ensembles to perform Field of Vision, a work by Michael Gordon intended to be played outdoors by 36 percussionists. The instruments are made of industrial metals and gongs, all resonant instruments that produce a complex spectrum of harmonics and resonances. This event is free and open to all, reflecting our desire to break with convention and bring contemporary music to the general public. An event not to be missed!
