NANATASIS

A Musique 3 femmes, Le Vivier and Sixtrum coproduction

Based on three traditional Wabanaki legends, Nanatasis is an opera for all ages by Wabanaki anthropologist Nicole O’Bomsawin and Mexican-Quebec composer Alejandra Odgers. Co-produced with sponsor Musique 3 Femmes, this new Aboriginal opera shares the beauty, wisdom and color of Wabanaki culture through a soundscape of flute, percussion and voice. The 3rd legend, Niben et Pebon, will be presented in coproduction with Musique 3 Femmes, Salle Bourgie, le Vivier and Sixtrum.
